Each time there is a debt ceiling crisis or some other budget problem Social Security, Medicare, pay for our soldiers are the first things threatened with cuts. Instead I believe that the highest paid on the government payroll should have their pay cut or withheld.
There should be no exceptions. From the President, and members of Congress to the highest bureaucrats in the various departments of government.
It is wrong to penalize the least of those among us for the unwillingness of those in power to work out our problems.
