Resolve the fiscal cliff debates by proposing flat across the board annual spending cuts, and revenue increases.

Created by N.C. on December 15, 2012

America's credibility and the economic recovery are being held hostage by partisanship and strong-arm negotiation tactics. This is a manufactured crisis with an immediate solution that allows the contentious issue of fiscal priorities to be postponed until after America's financial future has been secured:

-Flat, across the board cuts in spending across all government agencies; matched by equally uniform revenue increases from all sources of federal income.

If done gradually, this policy should hasten the ultimate goal of a balanced budget by inspiring renewed confidence in the U.S. Federal Government by the marketplace.

This is an inherently equitable solution that should require no debate, or further delay.
