Resource decommissioned military equipment to anti-poaching rangers/organizations

Created by A.K. on August 15, 2014

The war against poaching is being lost because the rangers at the front lines, and the organizations supporting them in the battle, lack the equipment and technology to effectively counter increasingly sophisticated poaching activities.

As skilled as anti-poaching rangers are, they don't stand a chance against the devastating weaponry of poachers, and endangered wildlife such as the black rhino are being poached ever closer to the brink of extinction.

Handing down decommissioned military equipment (e.g. weapons and night vision goggles) to these anti-poaching rangers and organizations, rather than destroying them or forgetting about them in warehouses, could be what it takes to save the life of a single animal, the future of an entire species, or even the life of a human protecting them.
