New gun laws should not be thought of until current laws are enforced. When current laws are not enforced and are inadequately funded, it makes little sense to create new and odious laws that would only penalize law abiding Americans. For example Some states might send in 10 to zero reports to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS). Violent criminals, rapist and domestic abusers are not being added to the NICS data bank. Legal gun owners should be allowed to have any size magazine, allowed to have semi-automatics-which never were banned, and be allowed to private transfers of guns. State Rights should be respected at gun shows, as the rights of citizens.
