President Obama has repeatedly infringed on individual state laws because they do not coincide with federal law. Every state has a constitution where they can make decisions on gun control, abortion, marijuana, marriage, etc. By allowing each state to regulate their laws, the government gives the people an opportunity to live in a state which constitution allows them to live a free life.
