Respect, not hinder, the choice of American citizens to have marijuana legalized.

Everyday we are shown the negative effects of "safe" pharmaceuticals that are pulled from the market because they have been shown to harm the people that use them for an illness. Drug companies are producing a product that does not have the objective to cure the individual but are driven by profit gains. They pay millions of dollars to produce a drug that will remain on the market for at most five years, which is why the price of these prescriptions are so expensive. These drugs are circulated through the population by advertisements that encourage people to medicate themselves and empty their wallets in the process. While this is allowed to happen, patients that benefit from the use of marijuana are forced to turn to the streets for their medication.
