The purpose of this petition is to ask the Obama administration to respect the 10th amendment and the will of the people by honoring the rights of the states to set cannabis policy. There are several states that have by popular vote enacted canabis policies that are in conflict with federal regulations. This petition requests that the Obama administration acquiesce to the states in situations wherein a conflict between state law and federal regulation arises with regard to cannabis policy.
