We Americans who believe in and support the work of the federal government ask that you not send any federal disaster aid to Oklahoma for its tornado recovery. 1) Oklahoma already gets back $1.35 for every dollar its residents and businesspeople pay in US taxes. 2) Oklahoma's Republican governor has refused more than $50 million to implement Obamacare, even though hundreds of thousands of her constituents would benefit. 3) In January, a majority of Oklahoma's Congressional delegation voted against aid to victims of Hurricane Sandy. If Oklahoma has no use for Washington and the assistance that our government offers, our federal tax dollars would be better-spent in states that do, like California.
