Our founding fathers created America to be a land of freedom and liberty. This includes free choice. I have read the response the White House released following the petitions for seceding states last November. While I do agree with some of what was said, I still believe that the PEOPLE, not the government in D.C, should have the final say in the secession of their state. Some of you might think back to the Civil War but, I will remind you: there was only a war because the Union would not let the C.S.A secede peacefully. If you want the PEOPLE to be given a vote for secession for your state, sign on the dotted line.
