This is a petition to the President of the United States to respectfully request that 20th Century Fox greenlight Director Tim Miller and actor Ryan Reynolds' proposed 'Deadpool' feature film. We believe this will help to stimulate the economy due to the possible merchandising opportunities, due to the growing popularity of the character. As the test footage featuring Ryan Reynolds proves, there is an audience for such a film out there, and filming it would not be beyond current cinematic capabilities. We urge President Obama to give this project his full support and blessing.
