Please ask our President to respond speedily to the secession petitions, and letting them know that it will NOT be granted. Delay is danger. Secession is very dangerous to the USA. Enemies of the USA are watching, and any states left alone will be captured by another country, especially Texas with its oil. Also, it appears that the GOP is doing this out of sheer anger that their person did not win. President Obama needs to really lead this nation to UNITY at this time. The longer he takes to respond, the worse it will become. I was hoping that he would have nipped this in the bud earlier. It is highly disrespectful to the president elect for folks to behave like this, and to the majority of voters who re-elected OBAMA. Please respond Mr. President asap to the entire nation.
