On August 9th in Ferguson, MO a young man named Mike Brown was shot and killed in the middle of the day. Mike Brown was a young, unarmed man who had his hands up and in clear view. Yet, he was gunned down.

Currently, in response to peaceful protests over Mike Brown's murder, the police are using EXCESSIVE force. They are using rubber bullets, tear gas and other militarized tactics. The police are trying to shut down the media, so no reports can get out.
We need the White House to respond IMMEDIATELY to help our American brothers and sisters who are suffering due to this abuse of power. We also need long-term solutions to prevent these gross displays of force.
