Mr. President:
The Washington Post has learned that the Chinese Government's campaign of cyber-warfare has escalated yet again, this time stealing plans to many of our nation's most advanced and sensitive military systems. These systems include "the F/A-18 fighter jet, the V-22 Osprey, the Black Hawk helicopter and the Navy’s new Littoral Combat Ship [and] the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter".
As I'm sure you agree, we cannot allow China to continue to blatantly steal our corporate and military secrets. This campaign of cyber-warfare threatens to limit our technological advantage and seriously threatens our national security.
China continues to deny any wrongdoing. We need strong and immediate action taken to secure our military systems and to punish China for this action
