On June 19, 2013, a petition was created to “Pardon Edward Snowden.” On June 24, 2013, a mere five days afterwards, the petition qualified for an official White House response. At the time of submitting this petition, February 17, 2015, 20 months since the petition to “Pardon Edward Snowden” passed the 100,000 signature threshold, the American public has not received an at length communication regarding what the current administration’s intentions are regarding Edward Snowden.
This petition urges the current White House administration to respond to the original “Pardon Edward Snowden” petition and to account for the delay in doing so.
