Respond to the petition that was already created to label GMOs. It doubled it's signature threshold, yet no response.

The vast majority of informed Americans overwhelmingly oppose the use of GMOs in our foods as it stands today because we are not given the RIGHT to know what we are eating nor the CHOICE to avoid them. That is not a democratic food system. According to USDA data in 2011 94% of all soy beans in the US are GMO. The figure is just as high for GMO corn. The only way that Americans have the right to choose is to buy organic, but even organic is under attack by the USDA- which recently forced deregulation of GMO alfalfa-which could effect organic dairy. There is also the court battles over GMO sugar beets- which the USDA is protecting despite judges rulings. Please sign an executive order that mandates Labeling of ALL GMOS and byproducts. Please protect people over corporate profits.
