President Obama's recent response grouped together petitions both for and apposed to gun control. The response dismisses the voice of millions of Americans who appose any new gun control laws
We would like president Obama to acknowledge
1) that millions of Americans who appose violence are equally apposed to gun control.
2) that guns of any type do not cause violence and therefore violence can not be stopped by regulating them.
3) that gun control endangers the public not only by making law abiding citizens easy targets but also by diverting attention from the real causes of violence
4) that supporting the 2nd amendment necessarily means apposing any new gun control laws
