Let us demand that our petitions on "We the People" are not only heard, but that our petitions translate into meaningful action and change in public policy.
Let us also prevent this resource from becoming analogous to a wishing well in which we despondently toss pennies in for the sake of making the voice of the people more than just a faint murmur in the political sphere.
Let the dismal state of political disenchantment in this country be revived by the proclamations of the populous, not elitist policy makers. Demand not only to be heard, but that your voice has meaning.
