We the people, petition the white house government to respond to the public's grievances with the current response to the petition to legalize marijuana.

Grievances include(but are not limited to):
-"marijuana use is associated with addiction": This statement is is believed to be completely false. But if it were to be true, so are two other completely legal drugs, alcohol and tobacco. (Source:http://norml.org/marijuana/faq#question8)
-"marijuana use is associated with ... respiratory disease, and cognitive impairment.": These are not legitimate reasons to keep marijuana illegal, (Once again)
as these are common side effects of two perfectly legal drugs, alcohol and tobacco.
