This is a call to action for the White House to formally respond to, and create meaningful policy based on the recent study, 'Human and Nature Dynamics (HANDY): Modeling Inequality and Use of Resources in the Collapse or Sustainability of Societies' by University of Maryland researchers Safa Motesharrei and Eugenia Kalnay, and University of Minnesota's Jorge Rivas.
Whether complete environmental or financial catastrophes happen in our lifetimes, nobody yet knows. What we do know is some of our smartest minds have put forth a solid argument to suggest that our children will not live in a world worth signing all of these other petitions for if we don't act now.
