respond to the violence in the Chicago area. 18 people have died, all but 2 have been black.

Since the August 9th incedent in Ferguson, the adminstration has responded to the shooting of Michael Brown. Since this day there have been 18 shootings in the Chicago area, one of which was a 9 year old boy. The adminstration is silent and has not sent any resources to deal with this greater issue. Chicago alone had 421 murders last year and currently has 247 this year with the vast amount of them black on black violence
