We The People declare a complete and total loss of faith in the Department of the Army for it's handling of Sergeant 1st Class Charles Martland, US Army. Sgt. Martland stood true to the seven core values of the United States Army. His Loyalty, Duty, Respect, and Selfless Service to the Constitution is apparent in his attempt to stop a rapist from raping young children. He held the Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage to do the right thing in a very difficult situation. Sgt Martland is the epitome of what We The People want in our service men and women.
We demand that Sgt Martland's entire chain of command resign.
Until such a time as faith is restored, and a popular vote reinstates them, we demand the Army Core values be changed to "Hear no Evil, Speak No Evil, See No Evil."
