Many of the Americans with credit issues are hardworking, educated, middle class families. Often, our debt is the result of our educations, including credit cards we use to help support ourselves while receiving an education. After graduation, we end up in careers that do not afford us the ability to pay our debts, stay current on our living expenses or support our families. Yes, we have made mistakes with our credit but we deserve a second chance that does not involve the lengthy and expensive bankruptcy process. Credit forgiveness would allow us to improve our futures and participate in the economic growth of our country.
