John Glenn, one of the greatest American heroes, recently passed away. He has served way more than his fair share and has gone above and beyond the call of duty serving in the military, the national government as a Senator in the US Senate and as an astronaut becoming the first American to orbit the Earth exploring parts of our universe and taking one of the biggest risks any American has taken. I therefore feel that his body must be given the highest honor of respect by being allowed to lie in state at the US Capital Building.
