We have dropped ball and let Europe move ahead of us with the Large Hadron Collider. It could have been American engineers and workers constructing the modern marvel. It could have been American physicists who get to announce Higgs Boson discovery.
Europe now gets to have the glory, and they suck at it. They screwed the magnets, they couldn't weld metal pieces together. For Christ sake they somehow manage to cast doubt on the theory of relativity!
Let America take the lead physics research again, because obviously Europe can't do it right. Please authorize a newer and larger particle accelerator to be built and operated inside the United States of America.
