The Restitution of American Isolationism

We must reinstate American isolationism for two major reasons, to keep our image as a major power we must stay out of the affairs of foreign states and only promote the growth of trade.
Our need to involve our self's with the affairs of other nations has caused us to needless ruin the reputation of our nation through false threats and wars with out cause.
We must also cut all spending on foreign regimes like the failed attempt to convert Syria's government. Actions like this only sink our national debt and bring international criticism when we could be spending that money on the American people.
Our need for imports is all so sucking jobs from citizens so we should put a 1% Tariff on all imported goods and 5% tax on all goods made with outside labor to promote jobs in America.
