East Asia was supposed to be a peaceful and progressing place with countries with similar culture and thoughts.
However, in 19th and 20th century, old Japan government successively invaded Ryukyu, Korea, China and Vietnam.
Afterwards, China recaptured the lost territories; Korea achieved their liberty, and Vietnam eventually reestablished their nation as well.
ONLY Ryukyu was stilled occupied by Japan with the US's acquiescence. I want to ask, WHY? Why Ryukyuan people can't be independent? Why the US government liberated Korea but did not liberated Ryukyu?
I would like President Obama to retrospect what the US did to Ryukyu was just or unjust.
The most beneficial for the US government is Ryukyu's independence can separate Japan's influence on west Pacific
