Restore American net neutrality.

Created by J.M. on April 23, 2014

On April 23, 2014, the F.C.C. released drafts for rules that will destroy the principles of net neutrality in America, where domestic Internet users have equal ability to access all content. Under current legislation, Comcast legally degraded users' connectivity to Netflix. These proposed rules are a complete reversal for the FCC's opinion on American net neutrality.

In 2013, The U.S. Court of Appeals for the D. of Columbia Circuit that struck down the Federal Communications Commission's open internet rules, because ISPs are not classified as "common carriers".

We urge the President to direct the FCC to classify ISPs as "common carriers," and to reverse the agency's current path. Net neutrality is required to maintain our nation's status and tech boom.
