As children growing up during the Cold War experienced, schools in the past have administered drills for safety in the event of an atomic bomb. An example of this is the "Duck and Cover" film that was created in 1951.
It is important that we re-establish this into our education system. Although no current atomic or nuclear situations may be apparent, it may be a future possibility. We want everyone, especially children, to get to safety in the event of an atomic or nuclear attack.
