Restore the balance of power between the branches of government.

Created by R.K. on January 07, 2013

Political parties? No two people are alike. The two major political parties in this country cannot speak for everyone. James Madison writes in The Federalist # 47 “The accumulation of all powers, legislative, executive, and judiciary, in the same hands, whether of one, a few, or many, and whether hereditary, self appointed, or elective, may justly be pronounced the very definition of tyranny.” Political party’s with a majority in either branch align and throw off the balance of power laid out by the Constitution. Affectively becoming tyrants and imposing their will upon the manority. I ask that we attempt to make an amendment to the constitution banning all political parties. It’s time we refer to each other, not as democrat, republican, or libertarian, but as fellow Americans.
