Restore Bankruptcy Protections to Private Student Loans

Created by L.F. on November 13, 2012

The only types of debt that cannot be wiped away under current regulations are child support and student loans.

Private banks are able to control interest rates and even sell loans to other banks without borrowers' permission.

Please restore bankruptcy protections, especially for loans taken out before the protections were taken away under President Bush.
