Guns are responsible for over 30,000 deaths each year. A gun owner is more likely to harm him or herself, or the people living in their residence than to use it in self defense. These two facts barely scratch the surface of the dangers and frightening realities involved with firearms. We need to start enacting stricter policies on firearms to put a halt on this epidemic of gun crimes and deaths we experience in America every single day. We are such an advanced country, we childproof everything. Yet, when it comes to firearms, it's seems that we can't do anything about it. If we don't act now and act efficiently, we will continue to see more and more deaths everyday from guns. This is preventable. We must reinforce the previous bans on military styled firearms!
