Restore Civil Rights to felons who has not been convicted of any crime in over 10 years.

Created by C.R. on December 13, 2013

This petition is for the restoration of civil rights to felons in all States. If convicted of a crime and time is served the right to hold public office is not restored, the constitutional right of owning a firearm is not restored. Rights of those who have committed bank fraud, Money laundering, resisting arrest, Driving intoxicated, and even burglary are able to have their rights restored. Party to a crime should fall under the "Non-Violent" category. If the person did not commit the act or wield a weapon, they should not be classified in the same category as those who used force and a weapon. Marion Barry Jr. who lost his mayoral position due to cocaine position was re-elected to Mayor in Washington. Rights should be restored so felons can hold public office and truly give back.
