Our country was founded on the belief that people should be able to follow any religion that they want. How is it fair that the laws and regulations providing tax benefits to married couples when homosexual couples are denied these benefits (marriage provides numerous tax benefits, although not directly). The rights for homosexual couples to get married doesn't interfere with anyone else's rights, so it isn't fair that we take away their right to get married. Saying that it isn't natural which has absolutely no scientific backing whatsoever, in fact, looking at animals (nature) we see many different species which partake in homosexual activities.
