EUC is a federally funded program that provides benefits to individuals who have exhausted regular state benefits. The EUC program was created on June 30, 2008. Most recently, the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 (P.L. 112-240) extended the expiration date of the EUC program to January 1, 2014. To date, Congress has not passed any further extensions leaving many Americans out in the cold. Families are left with no alternate way to pay their bills and our government is unconcerned with the many Americans who need help. Losing a good job is bad enough, but not being able to find work makes it that much harder. Please help these struggling families.
