The media and journalism networks have completely corroded the integrity of news reporting in this country. Reporters and media stations should be held accountable and responsible for broadcasting false information and presenting it as fact, even when they are aware such information is not accurate. These deplorable tactics have led to a massive divide among the citizens of this great nation as well as a deterioration of our tolerance toward one another.
We should enact & enforce legislation ensuring that a licenser may not broadcast false or misleading news and present it as fact. It is time that we come together as a nation and stop allowing the media to “spin” reports simply to advance the political agendas of the network and its affiliates, and restore integrity to Journalism.
