Restore Gun rights to felons that have done their time

This petition is based on equality and the right to bear arms for all people not based on color race etc, in the constitution is says an american has the right to protect him self from foreign and domestic, alot of people change from being locked up good people and being treated like a a mute in a society that claims freedom is not right, and when i say mute i dont mean physically challenged im just talking about the right to protect myself from thugs and tyranny
