For years, members of hourly paid classified staff in education have been donating time beyond the time they get paid to keep education from falling through the cracks! Classified Staff has lost hours and jobs to the point there are no librarians in many schools. Teachers have to wait (sometimes weeks) to have their computers, projectors, and student computers fixed by over-swamped IT personnel and media specialists, which causes time lost in education for many students. Students are having to help janitors, whose times have also been cut, to keep rooms clean during class time, which leads to more time lost for students in the classroom. Maintenance personnel can not keep up with bulging water stained ceiling tiles that look like Jimmy Hoffa is about to fall out of! We do our part! Help!
