Restore Military Widows and Widowers Lost Travel Benefit To Travel on Military Space A Flights After Death of Veteran

Created by L.R. on March 04, 2016

We the people of the United States request that the widows and widowers of retired military veterans should have the lost travel benefits restored for using Space A military flights after the death of the veteran sponsor. Currently, when a retired military veteran dies, the surviving spouse is no longer allowed to use the travel benefits of Space A travel. This is a cruel and unjust regulation which causes many surviving husbands and wives the inability to visit their veteran spouse's grave due to financial hardships. Many veterans are buried far away from their surviving spouses, and the spouses are not able to visit their graves or attend memorials for these veterans. As a nation, we are better than this, and should honor our veteran's survivors and not punish them. Thank you.
