NASA's budget, as a % of the total federal budget, is falling more and more every year. To promote science, engineering, industry and exploration in the United States, NASA should have the means necessary to explore the solar system and beyond.
I petition the government that NASA should receive 1% of the federal budget, only 1 penny for every dollar.
Programs such as the Constellation mission have been scrapped over budget constraints in the past few years, and something needs to be done to ensure the success of the United States and mankind as a whole.
