The new comment section on youtube requires a google+ account to use. There is no reason why youtube users should have to log in with google+ simply to write a comment on a youtube video. Not only does the new youtube comment system require a google+ account to use, it is also less intuitive and harder to use. Top comments and uploader comments are no longer displayed at the top of the comment section. There is no character limit on comments, meaning spam is very easy and common. Sign this petition to reinstate the old comment section as the gold standard in international online video commenting.
