Every month, internet service providers charge a fee of $5 to their customers purely for internet infrastructure improvements. Yet, we've fallen to 25th place in terms of internet speeds. Especially by the dollar, we are way behind in bandwidth. Improving our internet infrastructure will create jobs, and encourage creativity and entrepreneurial activities among Americans. If the Obama administration invests into internet access, it will be reflected upon as a clear initiative to catch up in the digital realm. Additionally, investing into NASA in the past has returned tax revenue many times over. In the case of investing $25 bn back in 1958-1969, it returned a total payoff of $181 bn by 1987. We can return to our former glory with a clear business model and science as a primary goal.
