So it's January 2013 and the payroll tax holiday is gone because our nation has "recovered "... mmm hmmm
ummm hate to be the bearer of bad news ,but there's been no real recovery ( bubble asset classes do not count as a recovery ).
I understand concerns about future SS solvency and i share them ,however we must mantain a razor sharp focus on the issues of the day.Those issues are putting food on the table , keeping the lights on , having enough money to put gas in the car to get to work , those of you who are struggling know what i'm talking about .
This 2% tax holiday from paychecks might have only provided a working person with an extra 20 dollars a week and while you and i might not think it much , these days for far too many Americans , that's now signifigant money .
Restore it .
