The reciting of the "Pledge of Allegiance" and singing of the "Star-Spangled Banner" has been an American tradition many generations grew up doing. It has been removed since some immigrants, who some, became naturalized citizens were not happy with the terminology of the word "GOD". This country was founded to escape religious persecution and built on the foundation of men/women who believed in "GOD". It is printed on our currency "In God we trust". Our country has compromised a great American tradition to satisfy those who really do NOT appreciate nor do they uphold everything our country stands for. We fight in other countries to change their governments, yet we are afraid to offend a minority of people who afraid of the word "GOD" in our own? Bring it back to our schools!
