We, the citizens of the United States of America, in order to form a more perfect union hereby do respectfully request the restoration of the Pledge of Allegiance to its original form without the reference to "under God" which discriminates against agnostics and non-believers.
Segregation and discrimination, in all forms and appearances, regardless of ones own beliefs, however benevolent in intent, should to be eliminated. Each triumph for equality of race, gender and more recently sexual orientation is another victory for "America".
America's greatness is that it was formed to protect, respect and support individuality and not to appeal to authority or special interest. We of all races, orientations, beliefs and otherwise, are all Americans first, foremost and always.
