We ask that you consider restoring the Pledge of Allegiance to it's original wording, leaving out the words "under god." Our country is a country of many peoples and many creeds, and it is both discriminatory and out fo line with the intentions of our founding fathers to enshrine monotheism in our national rituals. This change was made as part of the fear mongering during a dark time in our nation's history and it is high time that we restore the pledge.
