Please restore the original Pledge of Allegiance.
The phrase "under God" was incorporated into the Pledge of Allegiance June 14, 1954, by a Joint Resolution of Congress amending §4 of the Flag Code enacted in 1942.
The original pledge doesn't distract from the cultural and religious diversity that make the United States so unique.
Additionally this language is a clear violation of the First Amendment which: "prohibits the making of any law respecting an establishment of religion"
