We the people believe restoring the popular vote is the first step in re-creating real representation for the working class citizen. It is our opinion that we have lost all or most representation in our government due to lobbying from big business as well as disinterest from " The people".
We believe restoring the popular vote will help restore representation in government by making it possible
for a working class citizen to run for office or presidency.
As it stands now one must be very wealthy and have support from many wealthy company's to reach presidency.
This is out of touch with the average citizen.
We believe lobbying is the cause for this vast discrepancy.
We intend to change this.
