Restore the recently lifted ban on processed chicken imports from China

Created by J.K. on September 06, 2013

The USDA recently lifted a ban on processed chicken imports for four Chinese plants. The chicken is required to be originating the US or Canada, and as a result, requires no marking or other notice that it was processed in China.

We urge the USDA to reinstate the ban, or at the very least, require that consumers must be made aware of where the processing took place.
