Flint, like many Michigan cities has had its democracy stripped away using the euphemism of Emergency Manager to appoint dictators. Said "Managers" have engineered the poisoning of the city water supply with lead poisoning and destroying the potable water infrastructure. Had al Qaida or ISIS done this, the US Military would be deployed to restore democracy and replace the destroyed infrastructure. In Flint, the attack is ongoing. Children are still being poisoned and democracy is still denied.
We petition for deployment of the US Army Corps of Engineers, the US Navy Seabees, and US Air Force Red Horse Battalions and sufficient additional troops to restore local democracy and replace the destroyed infrastructure.
