Restore Sanity to Political Campaigns

Created by S.O. on November 01, 2012

Whereas the current way of campaigning has led to insanity, with candidates attacking each other to the point that none of them seem worthy of election, we beg that sanity be restored to the political process by allowing candidates to speak only of themselves, and not of their opponents. This would allow us to learn about the best in each candidate, not the worst. It could save millions of dollars in negative ad campaigns and would move the candidates to share their accomplishments past and present, and a vision of the future should they be elected. Such information would be more helpful than negative information of an opponent. It also has the potential to get more people to participate in the political process by moving it to a more positive arena. Let's restore sanity now!
